The Ubombo Mountains form Kube Yini's eastern boundary and it's elevated, central plateau is richly adorned with picturesque rock outcrops and clusters of dense vegetation. To the North and south, Kube Yini divides into a series of deep riverine valleys. To the east the plateau ends in a dramatic fall down a 200 metre escarpment framing the wide valley basin of the Unsunduze River, which wends its sultry way along Kube Yin's eastern boundary and into the Mkuzi Game Reserve.    Accommodation is provided in luxurious thatched lodges situated in elevated positions and fanned by cooling breezes ensuring a comfortable lifestyle. Kube Yini has breathtaking views across more than 100 kms across Lake St Lucia in the south, across the undulating plains of Mkuzi Game Reserve and towards the coastal dune and sandveld forests stretching from Mapelane and Sodwana Bay to Lake Sibaya in the East, and North to the little settlement of Ubombo, perched on the mountains between the Mkuze and Pongolo River gorges.
